President Trump of the United States Praises the DeepSeek AI Chatbot after the Stock Market Crash

The Chinese startup DeepSeek debuted a new AI chatbot on Monday that caused tech stocks to plummet, but US President Donald Trump hailed it.

I see that as a good thing, a strength. Therefore, I consider that a plus because you’ll be doing that as well. However, I’m not sure if it’s true or if it’s a fact. At a Republican strategy retreat in Florida, he stated, “So you won’t be spending as much and you’ll get the same result, hopefully.

According to DeepSeek, its chatbot is less expensive and utilises less data than its US counterparts while providing the same level of quality. The massive AI chip manufacturer Nvidia saw a six percent decline in value, and stock in other big firms like Microsoft and Google also suffered.

Monday morning saw a 1.6% decline in the S&P 500. The largest losses were suffered by the market’s most prominent tech stocks, such as Nvidia, which fell 11.2% and caused the Nasdaq composite to drop 2.7%.

By Monday, the DeepSeek chatbot had surpassed ChatGPT, a competitor from the US, in terms of downloads on the Apple iPhone store. The release of the DeepSeek AI from a Chinese company should be a wake-up call for our industry in that we need to be laser-focused on competing to win,” said President Obama.
