Considering the Loss of The Army Leader in a Plane Crash, the President of Turkey Offers Sympathy to Libya
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the president of Turkey, expressed his sympathies on Wednesday following the death of Libya’s military head and other high-ranking officials in a plane accident in the nation.
Erdogan declared, “An investigation has been launched into this tragic incident that has deeply saddened us, and our ministries will provide information about its progress. The voice and flight data recorders from the cockpit were found by search crews on Wednesday, but the victims’ remains were still being discovered, according to Turkey’s interior minister.
Everyone on board was killed when the private aircraft carrying Gen. Muhammad Ali Ahmad al-Haddad, four other officers, and three crew members crashed in Turkey on Tuesday after taking off from the country’s capital, Ankara.
About 70 kilometres (45 miles) south of Ankara, in the Haymana province, the debris was discovered close to the village of Kesikkavak. According to Libyan officials, the plane’s technical issue was the reason of the disaster. After having defense negotiations in Ankara with the goal of strengthening military cooperation between the two nations, the high-level Libyan team was returning to Tripoli.
