Austria and South Africa Decide to Deepen their Relationship

President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa invited his Austrian colleague Alexander Van der Bellen to speak on bilateral relations as a sign of the two countries’ growing relationship. Clean energy, tourism, employment, and cross-cultural interactions were the main topics of the two leaders’ discussions.
According to Van der Bellen, South Africa and Austria are two nations dedicated to creating a better future. As you can see, Austria and South Africa are active partners who are both dedicated to creating a bright future, and I think our two countries have excellent political relations,” Van der Bellen continued.
Ramaphosa also discussed how Austria and South Africa might strengthen their commercial and investment relationships. We aim to improve trade and investment across our two countries, and our meeting today marks a new chapter in our relationship,” Ramaphosa emphasised.
“South Africa has set itself as a model for many nations transitioning into democracy from a dark and turbulent past,” Van der Bellen remarked, thanking the country. Ramaphosa also discussed how Austria and South Africa might strengthen their commercial and investment relationships.
