A missing Singaporean Woman was Discovered Dead from Multiple Stab Wounds in Spain.
SINGAPORE: According to Spanish media on Wednesday, a Singaporean woman who vanished while vacationing in Spain was discovered dead from numerous stab wounds. A man from Singapore has been taken into custody about her demise.
Ms. Audrey Fang, 39, was supposed to depart for Singapore on April 12 but arrived there on April 4 for her single vacation. She was last heard from on April 9, despite being planned to remain at an opulent hotel in the eastern Spanish town of Javea until April 10.
It is reported that at approximately 8:45 p.m. on that day, she left her room and disappeared. She failed to board her aircraft from Barcelona back to Singapore, and her possessions were left in her room. Abanilla is located about 150km away from Javea. It is in the province of Murcia, while Javea is in neighboring Alicante.
Spain’s Civil Guard arrested a Singaporean man on Tuesday in connection with Ms Fang’s death and he is expected to appear in court later this week, El Espanol said.
The newspaper added that authorities had not revealed the nature of his relationship with Ms Fang.
