Netanyahu Criticizes Irrelevant” Europe on October 7, Which Israelis Commemorate

On the eve of the attack’s second anniversary, relatives of Israelis murdered in an October 2023 Hamas raid gathered in southern Israel for a memorial service Monday. They visited their loved ones’ graves and brought flowers.
Palty Carmit Katzir, who lost her father and had other relatives kidnapped, expressed optimism about Trump’s strategy. Disappointed that it didn’t occur two years ago. We might have saved a lot of lives. That it’s happening now is a wonderful thing. For my family, it’s too late,” she remarked.
In an interview with Euronews, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu unleashed a scathing attack on European nations, saying that they had “caved in to Palestinian terrorism” and that recognising a Palestinian state would be tantamount to rewarding terror. According to Netanyahu, Europe has “essentially become irrelevant” on the issue of how to address Islamist violence because of their position,
which he described as appeasing “radical Islamist minorities” within its borders. Netanyahu is upset that a number of European governments, including friends like France, have recognized a Palestinian state.
