The President’s Motorcade Vehicle Murdered a British National in Kenya

Edgar Charles Frederick, 79, was killed in Nairobi after being hit by a car associated with Kenyan President William Ruto’s convoy. The incident happened on Thursday along a major thoroughfare in the capital. According to police, the driver of a support vehicle in the convoy failed to halt, although he was eventually taken into custody and freed on bail.
According to authorities, the motorist is anticipated to appear in court as part of an ongoing investigation. Frederick had been traveling to Kenya to meet relatives who were residents of the nation. A post-mortem is anticipated, and his next of kin have been notified.
According to the UK High Commission, it was aware of the reports and was looking for more information. Meanwhile, a man was seen on social media lying hurt on the road close to a crowded shopping center. He was later wrapped in a traditional Maasai scarf.
The car in question was a member of the regional administration’s support staff for the presidential detail, officials explained. At the time, President Ruto was visiting the region for public appearances.
