In An Israeli Airstrike On A Gaza School, More Than Eighty Persons Are Killed

As of early Saturday, 80 people have died as a result of an Israeli airstrike on a school in Gaza City, according to Palestinian health officials.

The attack on the Tabeen school was acknowledged by the Israeli military, which stated that it targeted a Hamas command center located within the school. That was refuted by Hamas.

The bodies of eighty persons who were killed in the strike were brought to the al-Ahli hospital in Gaza City, according to Fadel Naeem, the hospital’s director, who spoke with The Associated Press.

According to him, medical teams found 70 bodies and acquired at least ten more bodies’ pieces.

The school, like nearly every other in Gaza, has served as a haven for individuals compelled by the conflict to leave their homes.

A huge building’s ground floor had walls torn apart, according to footage from the scene. Atop the blood-stained floor, there were pieces of concrete and twisted metal, as well as clothing, overturned furniture, and other debris. Scramble covered a scorched automobile with blown-out windows.

People were worshiping at a mosque inside the school when the strike unexpectedly occurred in the early morning before daylight, according to Abu Anas, a witness who assisted in the rescue efforts.
