Reed Brody, a Lawyer, Believes that Trump Should be subject to International Justice

In an interview with AFP, American lawyer Reed Brody, also referred to as the “dictator hunter,” said that Donald Trump, a “aspiring dictator,” ought to be held accountable for the war in Iran and his backing of Israel’s actions.

The former prosecutor, who has spent decades investigating leaders for violating human rights, calls Israel’s conduct in Gaza “genocide. Additionally, he is accusing Daniel Ortega and his wife Rosario Murillo of crimes against humanity, along with a group of UN specialists.

Participating in the Centroamción Cuenta literary festival in Panama, Brody whose father escaped Nazi camps—presented his book about the capture and trial of former Chadian ruler Hissène Habré.

Hissène Habré, the former president of Chad, was condemned to life in prison for crimes against humanity in 2016 as a result of one of his court triumphs. He also stood with victims of former Gambian President Yahya Jammeh and former Chilean tyrant Augusto Pinochet.
