The Industry Mourn the Death of 40-Year-Old Nigerian Actor Alexx Ekubo

Colleagues and close companions verified the news on Tuesday that 40-year-old Nigerian actor Alexx Ekubo had passed away. Nollywood star Ekubo had been out of the spotlight for a while. Although more information has not been released to the public, reports suggest he passed away following an unexplained illness.

His demise has shocked and saddened several actors. The news had saddened him, according to actor Godwin Nnadiekwe, who called him “a rare soul. Ekubo was well-known for his parts in drama and romantic comedies. His roles in movies like Weekend Getaway and The Bling Lagosians helped him become well-known.
