RIYADH: The second phase of the Sidra Accelerator program has been inaugurated in Riyadh by Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti, the Saudi Deputy Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, according to SPA. In keeping with Saudi Vision 2030, the program aims to promote an entrepreneurial ecosystem in the environmental sector of Saudi Arabia.

According to SPA, the Sidra Accelerator is the first program of its sort in the area in terms of the industries it targets and the locations of its chosen entrepreneurial systems in Boston and Riyadh.

The accelerator’s primary goal is to foster strategic alliances and teamwork. Additionally, it helps new businesses navigate intricate regulatory environments. According to the government, the 12-week intensive Sidra Accelerator program is aimed at new businesses in the environmental technology sector.

Through collaboration with top venture capital companies, access to global systems and markets, and a broad network of local and international professionals, it aids in their growth and expansion. In the end, the scheme would enable them to grow internationally, the ministry stated.
