More Rain is Anticipated in Kenya, where Weeks of Flooding have Claimed many Lives.

Since the middle of March, Kenya has had at least 70 fatalities as a result of persistently high rain and flooding. After the truck carrying them washed off a submerged bridge, eight dead were found in a river in eastern Makueni County on Saturday.

Kenya saw catastrophic flooding and weeks of rain, especially in the western and central portions of the country as well as in Nairobi, the capital.
