China and Qatar, According to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, are Trying to Politically “Besiege” Israel

Israel was under “siege” by China and Qatar, according to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday. He charged them with trying to weaken the backing of Israel’s supporters, particularly those in the US and Europe.

In Jerusalem, the Israeli leader addressed a bipartisan group of 250 US lawmakers. “We appreciate and treasure your support, Republicans and Democrats alike. Additionally, there is a concerted effort to undermine it,” he stated. Netanyahu likened this political “blockade” to Iran’s alleged plan to use its proxies to impose a “military siege” on Israel.

According to Netanyahu, “large Islamist minorities in western Europe,” who he said supported Hamas and Iran, are responsible for applying pressure on governments in that area through “violent protests and constant intimidation.”
