Dubai RTA Introduces a Cutting-Edge Traffic light System Driven by AI
Dubai: To enhance traffic flow and lessen congestion around the city, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) unveiled the UTC-UX Fusion, a cutting-edge traffic signal control system that makes use of digital twin technology and artificial intelligence (AI).
The state-of-the-art technology, which allows traffic lights to be dynamically controlled based on real-time data and predictive modelling, is a major step towards smarter, data-driven urban transportation.
The UTC-UX Fusion system is intended to improve operational efficiency, especially at crowded junctions and during peak hours, by modelling traffic scenarios before installation. The installation of this sophisticated traffic management system is a component of Dubai’s larger plan to lead the world in sustainable urban transport and smart city infrastructure.
