Eid Al Fitr 2024: Sheikh Hamdan and Maktoum, the Rulers of Dubai, Wish the UAE’s Citizens
The UAE saw the Shawwal crescent on Tuesday, sparking celebrations for Eid Al Fitr nationwide. The Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice-President, the ruler of Dubai, and the Arab world all sent their best wishes for Eid to the UAE’s citizens.
Sheikh Mohammed ‘congratulated the people of the Emirates and other Arab and Islamic peoples on Eid’ in a social media statement. He wrote: “May God bless each of us and give us the chance to commemorate this happy event in a pleasant and prosperous way. May this auspicious month’s acts of obedience be acknowledged.
The Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, also sent his best wishes to all. “We congratulate our leadership, our people, and all Muslims worldwide on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr,” he wrote on X. I hope it brings happiness, blessings, and prosperity to all.”
The UAE’s First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, also congratulated the nation’s leaders on the milestone.
