Key Milestones
We started the interview by asking, “Can you share key milestones and turning points in your journey as an industry leader or entrepreneur?”
Afrah shared, “The moment we reached 100,000 customers was a changing point in the business. We felt like we were changing the world, and we were a part of the community we lived in and just not a business there. We created a community and helped them while being in their daily life.”
Adaptability Amidst Market Challenges
Challenging phases are an inevitable part of any business journey. To learn how Afrah Alisher handles the same, we asked, “How do you assess and mitigate risks in your business? How do you adapt your business strategy to capitalize on emerging opportunities and industry shifts?”
She responds, “Covid year was one of the biggest challenges, yet we were able to create a different experience for our customers and help them understand us and the skincare industry either by buying from us or not.
We stay current in technology; we read data, analyze it, and then apply it. We know what customers need and how we can ensure the product is the perfect fit for them. We listen to the customers and improve their experience even after they buy from us.”
Spark Behind The Business
We were intrigued to learn the prominent factors that influenced Afrah Alisher to venture into this field. So, we asked, “What inspired you to start your own company or venture in this industry?”
Afrah shared, “Starting this business came with the idea of creating an item for the women in our community, empowering them, and giving them exactly what they need. The different cultures also inspired us; we improved many ingredients and products to be effective, and the results were seen in real life.”
Attracting Bright Minds
Having the right team counts as another significant component for the success of a business. We asked Afrah Alisher, “How do you attract and retain top talent in your organization?”
“We hire only talented, artistic, creative people; the way we hire in the company is by adding value. That’s how we know the impact will be bigger than we expect, and we would be able to reach their potential and impact the business in all aspects.” She replied.
Matching The Trends
We asked, “How do you adapt your business strategy to capitalize on emerging opportunities and industry shifts?”
Afrah continued, “Business has downs and ups; we follow different strategies and kinds of methods and reporting to follow up with the work and the process of each step from product development to marketing and sales.”
